LU AND THE RETURN OF THE PINK PANTHER

Roberto Luongo’s second “Pink Panther” mask again featured the classic cartoon inspector surrounded by a Floridian landscape. This time, however, the Pink Panther wore a goalie mask of his own. Luongo wore this mask during the 2005-2006 season to conclude his first stint with the Panthers. When no. 1 returned to the Cats in 2014, he surprised fans and teammates with this very mask. It looked (and felt) like Lu had never left.
