THORNTON HONORS CHAMPS FROM MSD, 2018

Shawn Thornton, former Panthers player and now Senior Vice President, surprised Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School hockey players with a Stanley Cup appearance during a practice at BB&T Center. The NHL and the Panthers wanted to do something special for the players, who had won a state championship less than two weeks after a mass shooting at their high school took the lives of 14 students and three faculty members.
