PUMPED UP FOR THE CUP

No one was as pumped up as Evan Rodrigues in Game 2 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final. The speedy forward netted back-to-back goals in the third period, including a power-play score, to help the Panthers to a 4-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. It was a signature game for Rodrigues, a veteran who was on his fourth team in five seasons. “He was awesome,” said Matthew Tkachuk. “Playing with him the last few games, he reads the game so well. That’s two games in a row scoring some big goals for us. He’s a super smart player and I’m really happy to see him get rewarded right now.” Rodrigues had seven points (four goals, three assists) in the Stanley Cup Final, leading all Panthers players.
