Roberto Luongo joined elite company on April 5, 2018, as one of only three goaltenders (Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy) in NHL history with 1,000 games. The Panthers defeated the Boston Bruins, 3-2. Luongo tops the Panthers franchise list for games played by a goalie with 572 trips to the ice; it’s not likely to be bested any time soon.
