The 2003 All-Star Game was a whirlwind for Olli Jokinen. The 24-year-old and his wife were getting ready for a vacation in the Bahamas when, just a week before the game, Jokinen was invited to join the Eastern Conference roster. In his first career appearance at the festivities, Jokinen participated in the Breakaway Skills Competition and tallied four points in the big game. Even though the East fell to the West (6-5), for Jokinen, it was still better than a trip to the Bahamas.
