A THOUSAND CATS WINS

Anton Lundell set up goals by Eetu Luostarinen and Oliver Ekman-Larsson in the 1st period and Anthony Stolarz made 34 saves to lift the Panthers to a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks on the road. With the win the Cats clinched their 1,000th victory in franchise history. At the time the Panthers sported an overall record of 1,000 wins, 924 losses, 142 ties and 223 losses in overtime. The win came against the Ducks who came into the NHL at the same time as the Panthers, their 23rd victory over Anaheim in their 42 head-to-head games.
