REIMER’S COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION

James Reimer debuted this mask in January 2019. It was a continuation of the mask he wore at the start of the season, which was titled “Transformation Phase 1.” This mask, also designed by artist Dave Gunnarsson, was titled “Optimus Reim: Transformation Completed.” The truck on the previous mask had fully transformed into the bionic goalie Optimus Reim, the goaltender’s alter-ego.
