RAT-WORTHY
Date: March 21, 2019
It took less than three seasons for Keith Yandle to make a historic mark in South Florida. During a 4-2 win against the Arizona Coyotes, his former team, Yandle assisted a 2nd period Mike Hoffman goal. The assist gave Yandle his 58th point of the season, breaking Robert Svehla’s franchise record for most points in a single season by a defenseman. Yans would finish the season with 62 points and 39 total power-play points, also franchise records for a defenseman.
