Jay Bouwmeester’s selection to the 2009 All-Star Game came as no surprise. The defenseman was the team’s third-leading scorer with 21 points and was averaging 27:38 minutes of ice time per game, good for third-most in the league. Bo stayed hot at the All-Star festivities, beginning with the Fastest Skater Skills Competition, finishing the race in just 14.59 seconds.
