BARKY TOPS IN HELPERS

With Sam Reinhart’s power play goal the Panthers took the lead for good in their 4-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes on the road. Aleksander Barkov had a helper on Reinhart’s goal and passed Jonathan Huberdeau (415) for the most assists to that point in team history. “But I think his work ethic … it’s in the gym and it’s on the ice,” Huberdeau said in November about his friend Barkov. “He can skate. He can catch a pass in his skate, and you can put a puck anywhere and he’d catch it. It’s impressive. He kept impressing me with what he was doing.”
