DAVE GAGNER SKATES, 1997

Check out Dave Gagner’s skates from 1997, part of his first season with the Panthers. Gagner was known as a strong defensive forward and he received votes for the Selke Trophy three times in his career. The Graf Supra 703 skate’s history goes back to the 1980s when Charles Graf wanted to make a hockey boot as rugged as his Swiss military boots.  These skates held up to the wear, including abrasions and cuts on the toe cap show where Gagner took pucks – and even a few skate blades – off his toes.
